Strange Company!

I did something about 6 months ago that I thought I would never do. I decided to change on of the main systems in my home. I had the old one for about 10 years and it was fine. The software was up-to-date, the system performed as it always had and I saw no reason to make a change. Then I was motivated by a force beyond my control; my wife. There are some things that just have that "aesthetic appeal" that others do NOT. So I made a change from the system pictured in the video above to a Qolsys system. Here is what changed on phone app...nothing. It all worked the same, the interface was as easy as ever but the panel and human interface on the touch screen is highly advanced. Here is what I did not know. The Qolsys IQ Panel 2 serves as a glass break, a motion sensor, a camera, a video tutorial device and video storage unit. It can also be the WIFI bridge excluding the need to tie the system directly to our router, giving it another layer of security. I'm definitely security conscious. There is no way to express just how satisfied we are with the new Qolsys IQ system. The title, if you noticed, does not sound favorable regarding securityallstar.com but I assure you that it is. I have never thought that depending on the police to show up was a great idea and this company gets it. You have an average of 3-4 minutes in a major metropolitan area while you wait for the police to show us. Do you realize how long that is? Now, if someone breaks in at 2am, the Qolsys system tells me what door, what window and gives me a fighting chance to pull out my Glock and protect my family. Yes, very cool approach to real security.
