Bonjour, continuing to the curiosity of "A strange comfort", allow me to introduce Brenne Whisky, the gracefully audacious French Single malt Whisky.
Introducing #Brenne will be half-hearted if I will not introduce you with the founder #Allison Parc, former ballerina turned whisky entrepreneur. The brand first realised in New York in 2012, Allison self-distributed the first bottles of Brenne via Citi Bike in Manhattan, placing the product on the shelves of the city’s top establishments and retailers. The flagship Brenne Estate Cask sold out within two months and Allison expanded distribution to 35 states and France, over the next few years. Her second expression, Brenne Ten, was introduced in October 2015
Crafted from locally indigenous heirloom barley farmed on-site, and proofed using water from the Charente river, Brenne is a 100% organic uniquely seed-to-spirit whisky. The first single malt in the word aged exclusively in French Limousin Oak and Cognac casks. Brenne Estate Cask is twice-distilled in a copper alembic still, and aged for a minimum of six years. The whisky has perfumed fruit and French patisserie aromas with creamy and complex sugar notes of rich creme br?lée and burnt caramel. On the palate: notes of banana, tropical fruits, and warm spices like cinnamon and clove. It is crafted at a third-generation farm distillery located in Cognac, France, which has been producing eau de vie since the 1920s and is fully certified Organic by both EU and USDA standards.
