Start with Self-Recognition?

To be able to recognise one another in a society or an organisational system which are designed otherwise – or doesn't simply have such practice–, there is a first step that calls to be taken: self-recognition. Sounding weird as an idea?

Recalling the pages of the book Creative Confidence, there's a path of empowerment, experimentation, overcoming fears and defying societal norms and forms of education, in order to positively impact the ways we value our own creativity and thereafter the way we recognise each other' creative self.?

The mission to transform the perception we, as a society, have regarding creativity is a huge one. Therefore it requires a collective move which usually starts with multiple small steps.

What we offer through Creative You ? is the possibility for you to start your own individual path towards that transformation and inspire everyone around you!?

What about starting it today at your organisation?

A Creative Odyssey?with Ami Vitale?

in?Creative Process

by?Mia Frank.

An amazing?storyteller who has been impacting communities abroad in a positive and social way, Ami Vitale is one of our inspirational artists. Having sat at the audience of Exodus Aveiro Fest , an event co-hosted by National Geographic back in 2018, where Ami shared her story, we felt deeply inspired and moved by her journey through?photography?and social impact, as her?lifelong expedition.

Having travelled to more than 100 countries, bearing witness not only to violence and conflict but also to surreal beauty and the enduring power of the human spirit. She has lived in mud huts and war zones, contracted malaria, and donned a panda suit— keeping true to her belief in the importance of “living the story.”

In this amazing Podcast series, beautifully curated by Mia Frank, we've found the opportunity to share with you a story that inspired us on how storytelling?can play a major role in boosting creativity in all areas.

Pitch Yourself to a Mirror

~ show off!?

Before putting yourself in the spotlight, we encourage you to?practice a little?in the comfort of your home. Give yourself a great cheer up and get the dust out of that?mirror. Choose a piece of a novel that you like, a poem that inspires you, your favourite lyrics or simply improvise.

Afterwards, experiment with presenting yourself to an imagined?audience and pretend you're introducing a well-known artist at the event of its new Art Gallery.?

But most of all,?have fun!
