Turkey’s leading fashion retailer with a strong international presence, LC Waikiki, is one of the recent Storyly customers. They launched Stories as an engaging content format in the app in 2024. In November, they were already using various features from interactive stickers to product tags, and even introducing a black-and-white theme for their Story covers. All these initiatives brought them the Storyly Rising Star award!
Now, LC Waikiki is on the stage!

“Our journey, which started with our first online sale in 2011, continued with our first sale through marketplaces in 2016. In 2020, we introduced omnichannel capabilities such as ‘pick up from store’ or ‘immediate delivery from store.’ In 2021, we decided to withdraw from all marketplaces and began app transformation and personalization efforts. In 2023, we started selling other brands, and by 2024, we completed the LCW.COM marketplace transformation. We brought together over 300 sellers and more than 400 brands with our customers and continue to progress with our vision of a marketplace focused on fashion and kids & baby.”
A closer look at BFCM 2024:
“We continued using our slogan ‘Bamba?ka ?ndirimler’ (completely different discounts), which we have been using for the past three years. With the idea that there’s no need to wait for November for early winter discounts, we offered discounted shopping opportunities to our customers throughout October and November. This year, we observed that many of our competitor brands also started their discount periods earlier. We noticed that smarter shopping stood out more this year compared to previous years.”
LC Waikiki’s BFCM Stories with Storyly:
“During the BFCM period, we showcased our category-killer products with a strong emphasis on price in our Stories. In addition, we included selections of trendy, high-value products that were priced significantly lower than our competitors. The main impact of these Stories was to both engage with customers through interactive choices and display products — which customers often struggle to find among a vast selection — with clear pricing and model visuals.”
The defining trend of BFCM 2024:
“The trends that defined this Black Friday period the most were fur and aviator styles.

Additionally, burgundy, gray, and brown tones stood out as prominent colors.”
Trends that keep appearing this year too:
"Flare jeans, which have been trending in the women’s clothing category for some time, continued during this Black Friday period as well.
Knit cardigans and wool coats also stood out this year, just as they did in previous years."
After BFCM:
“Since December is a time when preparations for the new year and gift needs increase, we highlight both seasonal necessity products and product groups suitable for gifting.”
2025 predictions:
“We expect to see chiffons, lace guipures, linens, floral patterns, textured fabrics, broderie crochets, satin, muslin fabrics, waffle sets, and dresses.”
Top priority in 2025:
“As our primary focus is always on enhancing the customer experience, our efforts to provide an easier and more accurate experience will continue. In 2025, our biggest priority will be bringing the newest and trendiest products to our customers in the most accurate way. We aim to reach customers seeking trendy and affordable products.”
