There was a woman born to a poor family. Her father was a farmer and her mother was a housewife. She had 10 other siblings.
They were so poor they hardly had any money to spend on other things. The most her parents could afford was to put food on the table. They had no money to send her to school.
But this woman had big dreams. She loved to learn. She was also blessed with natural intelligence.
Since her parents couldn't send her to school, she worked as a maid (helper) while she was in college. Not only that, but during recess, she also worked in the school cafeteria.
Every day, she would wake up to 4 am to do household chores as a maid. Then she'd walk to her school, some 2-3 kilometers away. At night, she would work as a maid until 8 pm and start studying or doing her school assignments only after 8 pm.
This woman had such a beautiful heart and mind. She did everything with passion and love. She was grateful she could study. She was grateful she could work as a maid to support her studies. She also had a great relationship with God and she wanted to do everything to please God. Her favorite verse was Colossians 3:23 which says, Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord and not for men."
She graduated top of their class, and fell in love with the most intelligent and admired man in their school. They got married and were blessed with three beautiful children. She and her husband continued to further their studies. Both of them finished their master's and Ph.D. with flying colors.
Today, their middle child is sharing this story with you.
Can you guess who that middle child is?
You guessed it right. Me. And the woman in the story is my Mama.
Her story is one of the most beautiful stories I can ever share with you and with my future children and the generations to come.
I am who I am because my Mama had a dream and she didn't give up on her dream. It was my Mama who instilled in me the passion to learn and share what I learn.
I remember when I was young. My Mama would encourage me to share my stories with her and she would listen to my stories for 2-3 hours every single day from elementary until high school.
Thus, when I heeded the call to write a book, sharing stories in my books came so naturally to me. Thanks to my Mama's love and listening ears.
Don't give up on your dream!
Don't give up on your dreams. Who knows? Your dreams will impact not only you but also your children, grandchildren, colleagues, friends, social media network, and so on.
If my Mama gave up on her dreams, I wouldn't be the author and speaker I am now. Perhaps, we've never had this chance to meet.
What story would you like to share?
My Mama may not have written any book, but I've written 15 and she's a part of each and every book I've written. Though my Mama is already in Heaven, her legacy lives through my books.
Is there a story you'd like to share?
One of the best ways to share that story is through a book. It can be your legacy to the world.

I've written 15 books even if I was not a writer.
The only skill you need in order to write a book is the skill to write a sentence.
If you can write a sentence, then you can write a book.
I can teach you how to write a book in 90 days even if you're not a writer.
I've been teaching aspiring authors how to write books since 2015. To date, we already have 200+ published authors. This is the last time I'll offer this course/coaching. Starting in 2025, I won't teach book writing anymore, as I will now focus on serving leaders and corporations through my talks and training programs.

I wish you success and happiness!
P.S. I am an author/speaker/book writing coach now because a woman born to a poor family made her dream come true so I can make my dreams come true and so I can also help others make their dreams come true.
If there's that still, small voice that calls you to write a book, don't ignore it. Don't deprive yourself from achieiving that dream and enabling others to achieve theirs as well.
P.P.S. If you know someone who needs this message, please forward it to her. If you've written a book already, congratulations! You've done a huge service to the world and to the future generation! :)
