Whether you have worked at an enterprise or are an entrepreneur, whether you have been an employer or are an employee, led a team or starting your career, the last few years have been an unforgettable part of our life’s journeys. Here is an ode to the sacrifices we have made along the way.?
Thank you for flying red-eye to make it in time for the 9 AM. Thank you for waking up early on a cold winter morning, braving the storm, and getting to work.
Thank you for showing up for the kick-off meeting even though your head really hurt. Thank you for working nine-to-nine (and sometimes eleven) to deliver excellence?on time.?
Thank you for giving up the comfortable nine-to-nine to follow a dream.?Thank you for starting from nothing to disrupt a broken industry.
Thank you for postponing your dreams so your partner can follow theirs. Thank you for supporting a?journey at great personal cost despite not really understanding what it means.??
Thank you for building a business model that gives more than it takes.?Thank you for persisting despite the hurdles, the pressure, the criticism and the resistance.
Thank you for being an early adopter and believing in the model before seeing proof of its benefit.?Thank you for supporting despite the gaps, the mistakes, the delays and the breaks.?
Thank you for the long hours to refine, improve, perfect the model. Thank you for sharing the rewards with your first believers.?
Thank you for taking risks, taking quick and firm decisions that kept us all safe.?Thank you for going to work and risking illness or even death.
Thank you for staying home for all those months to allow our healthcare systems to cope. Thank you for swallowing your fears and complying without question.?
Thank you for fighting uncertainty, overcoming doubt and keeping your businesses alive and kicking. Thank you for continuing to grow, continuing to move, continuing to innovate and continuing to inspire.

Thank you for keeping your staff employed for as long as you could despite the downturn. Thank you for selling your car to make payroll that one very difficult month.?
Thank you for waiting to get paid in difficult times, despite long delays.?Thank you for not threatening action even though you were angry and things were unfair.?
Thank you for sacrificing profits to give your suppliers their fair share.?Thank you for not trying to squeeze every last drop to get a good deal from a supplier.
