If a story is paused, do you move it back onto the backlog?

So today's question; If a story is paused, do you move it back onto the backlog?
Well, let's look at this way; if you've got a changing plan, do you update your plans? Do you communicate that update to everybody else in the team and all of your stakeholders?
Well, the answer of course is yes, so if you have a story which is paused, for whatever reason, you would move it back onto the backlog because that would inform everybody that he's no longer in progress.
That's not if it's blocked if there's an impediment and there's something. You're actually just stopped from doing but if you've genuinely paused it, yes, move it back to the backlog.
It's different if it's cancelled. If it's cancelled. It would be cancelled and moved to the other side of the board and that would also be reflected in the plans. I hope that helps.
