: A Story of Friendship and Business Growth

In 2001, when I first came to Mumbai for studies, the city seemed like a scene straight out of a movie—big, bustling, and completely unfamiliar. I was lucky to have a good friend, Dattatray Kadam, who helped me find my footing in this vibrant city. My journey started humbly. After six months of adjusting to the city’s pace, I took up my first job at a bookstall in the Mumbai Fort area. It was here that I got my first taste of helping people—a skill that would serve me well later as I transitioned into the world of advertising and marketing.

Shortly after, I joined the Government Institute of Printing Technology (GIPT) at Sir J. J. School campus in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to study printing technology. During this time, I lived at a hostel in Bandra Kala Nagar, right behind the iconic Matoshree Bungalow, the residence of Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray. My hostel days were incredibly memorable and "filmy," much like the city of Mumbai itself.

It was during these hostel days that I met a slim, energetic architecture student named Mayur Vaidya. We shared some unforgettable times, from brewing tea at 2 a.m. to celebrating festivals like Holi with the most vibrant spirit, including a glass of bhang for that extra kick! Nights out enjoying street food and one beer party per year—these are moments I cherish deeply. Fast forward to today—Mayur may not be as slim, but our friendship has grown stronger over the years.?

After graduation, our paths diverged. Mayur moved to Pune, while I remained in Mumbai to start my own business. Today, I am proud to be the founder of Ageancy Media , an advertising, marketing, and branding consultancy, and Mayur runs V Vision 7 , a successful architecture firm. Interestingly, I had the honor of designing the logo for V Vision 7, and to my surprise, Mayur still uses it to this day!

Over the last five years, Mayur has been encouraging me to expand Ageancy Media to Pune. Due to various technical and emotional reasons, I couldn’t make it happen—until now. Recently, I’ve set up my office in Pune, strategically located right behind the V Vision 7 office, symbolizing the strong partnership between Mayur and me. Throughout our journey, we’ve helped each other in business, but it’s safe to say that Mayur has helped me much more than I could have ever expected.

Mayur’s calm, energetic personality, coupled with his innovative ideas and risk-taking mindset, has made him one of the best entrepreneurs I know. Over time, our friendship has turned into a strong business partnership. Today, I’m thrilled to announce that Mayur Vaidya is now the Business Advisor of Ageancy Media. With his guidance and insight, I’ve transformed Ageancy Media into a Private Limited company under the name Iraaraavi Media Corp Pvt Ltd, while continuing to use the brand name Ageancy Media.

Since Mayur came on board, all our plans have accelerated at a rapid pace, and I am confident that with his expertise, along with my dedicated team, we will achieve remarkable success in the coming years.

Thank you, Mayur, for being a true friend, business partner, and now, the driving force behind Ageancy Media’s growth. Here’s to many more years of success and collaboration!
