Story of a Fork & a Spoon

Story of a Fork & a Spoon

I can start with once upon a time however it's a general case where a fork spread from its paired spoon as someone took it but forget to return it. If you are wondering who is that someone, well that was me! HEHE!! PS- I am writing this one as I feel so bad about losing the spoon of a colleague.?

So, the story started a few days back on the day of valentines. We all know that no Indian company gives you a holiday to celebrate love(Well, in my word it should, but this is a conversation for some other day). So, I and my office buddies are having lunch and I forgot to BYOS(Bring Your own spoon). Now, I have the courtesy to ask for one as it was lying in her box with the paired fork. So, I took it and thought to return after my supper. However, the destiny of the pair(spoon and fork) has something else planned for them.?

Like any other forgetful person, I put the spoon in my box and forgot to return it until she asked for it the next day. Days passed by and still, I was not able to return the spoon. My colleague mentioned that you separated the pair on the love day and now my fork is missing the spoon!?

I feel so bad about it that when I came back home, the first thing I did was look for the spoon. The best part about the day I choose to unite the spoon with the fork was Mahashivrari. A day which was known for love in Hindu mythology. So, I bought a spoon for her, and she said it's not my fork's partner! I was not able to unite the couple till now, but I will one day!?

The best part about this story was the lesson I got, BYOS!?
