A Story about Evolution

A Story about Evolution

I recently completed my three year anniversary, working at?The Centre for Inclusive Leadership?and what I time I have had. I have learned so much, developed on a personal and professional level and I have seen the company grow and evolve along the way.

When, I first started working with the centre, it was on an ad hoc basis as a facilitator and one of the things I always used to think to myself is how old fashioned (my favorite drink) our presentations looked (no offense team before me lol). I am a very visual person and the fact that we have such powerful content, it didn't sit right with me that the visuals didn't match the content. It felt like we are missing a trick and I felt that this improvement could elevate the brand to another level. So I decided to take matters into my own hands…

Having a brand that was more focussed on substance than style, I took it upon myself to start redesigning some of the powerpoint decks that we used with clients. That got some good feedback from the team and they allowed me to continue working in this space, which led to me designing more. During the pandemic, and after gaining a substantial amount of knowledge from my learned colleagues, I was part of a tag team with the wonderful Tamara Roberts to create an Away from the office e-learning series. Soon after that I was heading up the marketing and brand team, responsible for comms, website and social medias. What followed that was a company rebrand including a new website and new brand visuals and logos! Shortly after we then created a second brand The Inclusionomics Company .

Which brings us full circle to where we are today, where we have a full brand team, 4 strong, based in Brazil where I currently reside, with two brand identities Enolla Consulting and The Inclusionomics Company , a strong social media presence and most recently a website in Portuguese (check it out if you haven’t already)!!?https://thecentreforinclusiveleadership.com

All this to say, when you are the right person in the right place at the right time doing the right thing, and you have the right people around you, that feel safe, trusted, valued, and respected, you are all able to be your best self and do your best work!

This feeling I am describing is called inclusion and inclusion is the key to everything!

Wonderful things can happen when you feel included.

We are workplace inclusion practitioners specialising in inclusion dialogues and data.

We work with our clients to embed inclusion into the culture of their organisations as both thinking, and design and delivery partners.

Love this article…. You are absolutely the right person. Glad this is proving to be the right place. As far as our visual storytelling goes it’s been more revolution than evolution and more than that … it’s been a revelation.
