The story of TFN begins with its founder, who saw an opportunity to challenge the status quo in the transport industry. At the time, oil majors dominated the market, offering little innovation. It was business as usual — until TFN came along.

In 2006, our founder began developing the base software that would become the foundation of TFN’s modern refuelling solutions. Despite scepticism from suppliers and industry insiders, TFN officially launched in 2008. The first month saw just over 14,000 litres sold, but it was a start. Fast forward to 2024, and TFN achieved an incredible milestone: over 39.2 million litres sold in a single month.

In 2021, a new chapter began as the founder, Stevie Ferreira, handed over the reins to his son, John-Stephen Ferreira. John-Stephen brings with him not only a passion for innovation but also a deep understanding of the company’s roots and its purpose. Under his leadership, TFN continues to be a business focused on people, driven by excellence, and committed to shaping the future of transport.
