Up For The Challenge?

We all have stories, ideas, feelings and perspective to share but how often are they heard with large welcoming ears? In a world of quick instant gratification where people simply hit the like button or swipe right or left it's rare to find others who have the patience and willingness to take the time not to speak about themselves but to ask question to understand and empower others.

It's by seeing the world through other people's eyes that helps us to understand so much more of our own. It's by helping others in life that we learn more about ourselves and helps us to gain knowledge and experience to help us grow us an individual as well. It's by connecting with them that we learn more of how we are connected in this world.

We may go to bookstores or the Internet to read stories, but I challenge you to go outside today, tomorrow or one day this year and find someone you wouldn't normally speak to and ask about theirs. This doesn't need money, a device or an high level of education all it needs is a little bit of your time, patience and the willingness to listen with an open mind and heart. All it needs is you to shine your light on them for once and to make them feel understood and seen so they can feel like person with meaning and purpose and not another image on a screen or body in this world.
