The story behind Twenty 4 Seven's "Slave To The Music" by Stacey Seedorf
Stacey Seedorf is a Dutch singer and songwriter, who’s active in the music scene for more than 30 years. He’s mostly known for his releases with Eurodance act Twenty 4 Seven, for which Stacey wrote most of the lyrics. Twenty 4 Seven sold over 20 million records worldwide and some of their most well known tracks are “Is It Love”, “Take Me Away”, “Keep On Trying” and of course the 1993 classic “Slave To The Music”. That one peaked within the Top 10 in at least 8 countries. Furthermore it was a number 1 hit in Zimbabwe and peaked at number 2 in Australia where it did also reach the Platinum status!
Because of the upcoming 30th anniversary of “Slave To The Music”, I recently sat down with Stacey, to ask him about the story behind this classic, but we also spoke about his State Of Mind Network and much more!
Enjoy and thanks for watching!
