The story behind Shri Krishna's wives

From what I have heard is Lord Krishna had freed 16,100 girls who were in present day Iraq. Iraq those times was ruled by a person called Narakasur. He had 16100 wives and he made everybody very miserable with his cruel inhuman ways of behaviour. Because those 16,000 women were abducted, raped, tortured and held captive at a psycho called Narakasura’s palace. Shri Krishna rescued them because their parents wouldn’t take them back, nor would any man want to marry them, Lord Krishna married them all, offering them house, name and status in the society. The whole population was miserable. It’s in Iraq. His son was Bhagadatta. And because of Bhagadatta that city came to be known as Baghdad.

So what Iraq has to face now, it has faced more than 5000-years ago also. 5000-years ago, Iraq had same type of regime. When I was in Iraq, they told me in Kurdistan there are a hundred villages, where there is not a single male because Saddam Hussein killed every male. In those hundred villages, the amount of suffering people had! We went through some of the villages and (there were) all women only women. They came up and they were talking. They were sharing their sob stories. It is chilling that in this age such a demonic mindset can exist.

You have heard about similar incidence in Uganda as well. Someone stored many skulls in the fridge. Haven’t you heard this? Yah. And in Cambodia, millions of people, even today there is an exhibition in Cambodia. One communist general in Cambodia, he told everyone to go and do farming. And people didn’t know farming. People, who were businessmen, who didn’t know anything about farming, he forced them. Those who said no, he killed them off. Millions were killed. One-third of the population of Cambodia was killed by one man.

So such a demonic mindset existed 5000-years-ago also. And he had married 16100 women, captured them, and made them his slaves. So when he was slain by Shri Krishna, he freed them. All the 16100 women then said "now we will all commit suicide". They all wanted to commit mass suicide. Because in those days there was a taboo about woman without her husband. They were not having such a respect in the society, and especially a wife of a demonic person has no respect. So they all told Shri Krishna, “Because our families will not take us back, because we have been married to this demonic guy. And the world will not accept us because they will see us as the wife of this demonic person who has destroyed the lives of millions. So it is better we die.”

Then Sri Krishna said to them, “Not to worry. I will marry all of you. I accept you all as my wives. Because Shri Krishna is the Supreme Lord, he is independent of all material designations. He was most famous personality in the whole Bharat. Then, they can live with dignity, so he gave dignity to their life by giving his name or his sanction to be their husband. Shri Krishna was so kind that he had an individual palace for each of his queens. He expanded himself personally and was present simultaneously in each of them. This incident is mentioned in Shrimad Bhagwat Puran. So all those 16100 queens were freed by Lord Krishna and given the status of queen. Isn’t that such a noble thing he did? So he gave them new life. He had 8 principle wives, chief of them being Rukmini, Satyabhama and Jambavati.

Real story of Narakasur: Demon or extra-terrestrial body. Everything evil has often been called Asura. According to a saint, Narakasur was actually a comet coming towards the earth that Krishna destroyed with his weapon - Sudarshan chakra by dividing it into thousands of pieces which fell on earth harmlessly. This can be so true because there is no other evidence or mention of Narakasur in any scriptures. Some say he was ruler of Pragjyotishpura (Guwahati). That makes me wonder how did a demon community have a kingdom up there. But even there the story stats with a gigantic mountain hurling towards Krishna who destroyed it with his mace or Sudarshan chakra. Further Narakasur was also called Bhaumasur (Son of earth)- which may be because Comet do look like a piece of planets.

What was the mystery of 16,000 wives? There are 72,000 nadis (nerve channels) of which around 16,000 are the most important… some claim they are 16,100 important nadis. Krishna is considered the first Purna avatar: The mortal incarnation with full divine powers. Krishna is said to have mastered all the seven chakras and had the power to manifest anything he wanted out of thin air. It is possible to do so only when you have power of the 5 elements which is possible only when you open up all the chakras. When you do so- All you nadis are in your own control. So when they say he had 16,000 wives, it just means that he had control over 16,000 nadis of his.

There is also a mention that Krishna had 16,000 gopis and has the same story as above which also can be interpreted the same way. Shri Krishna leela - is the dance of the nadis i.e. awakening of the self. (Shri Krishna= self, Gopi= nadis). Another funny thing is the romantic relationship between Radha and Krishna. Krishna was brought up in the same village where Radha was married to. Now even considered child marriage - Radha must have been at least 16 years old while Krishna stayed in that village only till the age of 12 years (11 years actually) when he killed his uncle Kansa and moved on.

So, logically can a 10 year old romance with a 16–19 years old. They were just best buddies, a divine relationship of friends which we fail to notice. even now when we see a boy and girl together we think they must be having a affair. Radha and other Gopis faith and love was beyond over thinking. Some also claim that Radha was 10 years elder than Krishna and Krishna left Gokul at age 7. Guys 7 years. Imagine, a 7 year old proposes a 17 year old girl. All Gopis loved Krishna. It is unfair to compare their love and friendship with romantic relationship.

Rukmini:- Rukmini was the princess of Vidarbha. Rukmini was Shri Krishna's first wife (Pat-rani). Rukmini was incarnation of the Goddess Mahalakshmi. Rukmini was Sita in her previous life. Shri Krishna married to Rukmini:-Shri Krishna married to Rukmini at completing his age 25 years. Shri Krishna became king of Dwarika at his age 25 years. Rukmini was first and the most favorite wife of Shri Krishna. Rukmini was "Chir Yauvana" (Meaning:- Once who never became old). Rukmini was very the most beautiful woman.

Sri Krishna's eight chief queen:- Rukmini (Incarnation of Goddess Mahalakshmi). Satyabhama (Incarnation of Goddess Bhudevi/Earth). Jambavati. Kalindi (Incarnation of Goddess Yamuna). Mitravinda. Nagnajiti. Bhadra (Madri/Rohini). Lakshmana. Shri Krishna married 08 times at interval of few years so he had 08 wives. Junior wives of Shri Krishna:-Sri Krishna had 16,100 junior wives. Demon Narakasura (Bhaumasur) had kidnapped them by attacking on many towns and villages.

He killed family members of those all girls. Demon Narakasura had set terror on those girls. So,all of these 16,100 girls had lost their family members. God Shri Krishna fought against Demon Narakasura (Bhaumasur) on the day of Nark Chaturdashi (Kaali Chaturdashi or Kaali Chaudas) which comes 1 day before Diwali/Deepavali every year. God Shri Krishna defeated and killed Demon Narakasura (or Bhaumasur). God Shri Krishna released those 16,100 girls from jail of Narakasura (Bhaumasur).

Those 16,100 girls prayed to Shri Krishna, "O God Krishna, you saved and released all of us from Demon Narakasura (Bhaumasur), but as we stayed in his kingdom our society will not accept us and no one will marry us. Where will we go?" God Shri Krishna was offered to marry all of 16,100 girls. Only for giving them better life God Shri Krishna accepted their proposal and agree to marry those 16,100 girls. By this way God Shri Krishna had 16,100 junior queens and total 16,108 queens. God Shri Krishna married all 16,100 girls at different palaces at the same time miraculously. Jay Shri Krishna
