The Story of Aanshi: A Beacon of Inspiration at Bhumi
My support system comprises my co-volunteers, all of whom are older than me. They are well-settled in their careers, while I am just a college student at 22 years old, and they are aged 25 and above. Despite the age difference, they support me in every aspect, whether it's handling projects, organizing events, or addressing any doubts related to the events.
In today's edition of Humans of Bhumi, we celebrate the remarkable journey of Aanshi Tapraniya, a dynamic and dedicated volunteer who has been an integral part of our family for over four years. As an HR Catalyse Overall at Bhumi, Aanshi has made significant contributions, inspiring many with her passion and commitment.
Aanshi's journey into volunteering began during her college years, spurred by the guidance of a senior. It was a simple Instagram message that marked the beginning of her association with Bhumi. "I reached out to her on Instagram, seeking guidance on how to volunteer, what steps to take, and how to become a part of the organization," Aanshi recalls. Despite never having engaged in volunteer work during her school years, she was driven by a deep-seated desire to contribute to a cause, a motivation further fueled by observing her sister's involvement in various endeavors.
Aanshi's hobbies reflect her vibrant personality. She loves engaging in craftwork, listening to music, binge-watching Netflix, and, most importantly, volunteering. "Education is crucial as it develops a personality, setting individuals apart from those who are uneducated," she emphasizes. Empowering the underprivileged is a cause close to her heart, as she firmly believes that lack of education hinders potential and growth.
Reflecting on her college days and her time with Bhumi, Aanshi cherishes the memories she has made. "One thing I adore is having a great Bhumi family, where we spend time together, laugh with each other, and work alongside each other," she shares. Coming from a conservative family, Aanshi's growth in confidence and responsibility is evident. She proudly recounts her solo trip to Beacon, a milestone that filled her parents with pride.
Aanshi's candid confession about her dislike for reading books, preferring movies instead, reveals her love for visual storytelling. Yet, she fondly remembers the two books she did read, particularly "Oh Yes, I Am Single" by Durjoy Datta. Her unique food preferences, such as eating rusks with water and enjoying sabji with lots of curd, add a delightful personal touch to her story.
