?? Storms, niches and AI headshot generators

Good morning!

On Monday, I returned home to Buckinghamshire after a long weekend on the Norfolk coast to find half the county underwater.

"End of days" was how my bestie described some of the storms I'd missed, which was actually a bit disappointing as I love a good thunderstorm! ??

Although it took four hours to drive back due to the flood redirections, I had a marvellous break, and it was dry and sunny the entire time.

Not everywhere was as lucky, and looking at the photo below, it seems this is why Google Maps took me on a bizarrely convoluted route back.

Marston Moretaine is only a 25-minute drive from where I live, so you can see how much rain we had here.

I'm just happy that it isn't my open boot in the photo. I mean, how does a person even end up in that situation?! ??

THREE THINGS FOR YOU

1) Find your VA niche

The concept of niches ties most VAs in knots, but a 'niche' is just an area of expertise - something you know how to do really well and can use as a hook to get clients. ??

2) Aragon AI headshot generator

A few days ago, one of my All Stars members posted this comment in the group along with several profile photos she'd generated using Aragon.

Her photos were phenomenal, and everyone said they would not have known they were AI-assisted.

What's amazing is that you can upload some pretty casual selfies, and the AI turns them into really professional images. ??

3) Interview with Tom Lingard

I particularly love this VA interview with Tom Lingard because, like me, Tom likes to run his business while travelling. ??

In fact, I actually met Tom when I was living in Split, and he was visiting Croatia for a few days with some friends.

To give the book its full title, 'In the Company of Women: Inspiration And Advice From Over 100 Makers, Artists, and Entrepreneurs' is so freakin' good I just bought the hardback version so I can drool over the artist's studios.

There are so many inspirational quotes it's impossible to pick just one, but I particularly liked:
