Storm in a Tea Cup

Most of our problems are like a storm in a teacup - appearing much bigger and more significant than they are. In reality, they often do not have a great deal of impact and can be quickly resolved with a little patience and effort. We can be so quick to become overwhelmed by our problems, but when we take a step back and look at them in perspective, we can usually see that they are not as large as they seem. We can take comfort in the fact that often our problems are a storm in a teacup.
This is because most of our problems are transient and can be solved with communication and understanding. Problems can often be viewed in a different light when we take the time to really think about the issue and put ourselves in someone else's shoes. Oftentimes, it helps to remember that the vast majority of our problems can be resolved with a little bit of empathy and understanding.
