It is indeed true that stories revolve around events and people.
But what marks or characterizes an event?
Memorableness, feeling, experience, satisfaction, intrigue, curiosity, new knowledge, improved familiarity, transformation and accomplishment are some of the characteristics of an event.
The characteristics intrinsic in any event motivate people. These are the aspirations which in turn bring people to common points, journeys and goals.
Anyone seeking to make their events successful, must be aware that people at any event have or come with aspirations to fulfil.
?This short article I shall talk of about the ones that enable people to feel welcome, validated and taken care of.
These are known as expectations.
They include one’s belief system.
On the event side they are memorableness, feeling, experience, satisfaction, intrigue, curiosity, new knowledge, improved familiarity, transformation and accomplishment.
On the side of individuals these are the expectations they look out for: respect, kindness, dignity-affirmation, politeness, empathy, professionalism, welcoming, patience, happiness, joy, fun and dependability.
The expectations are the source of conversations, reviews and what people will talk about any event.
Make your event transformative, fun to be at, enjoyable with many others, welcoming and memorable. This is what people talk about and this is what they tell others about you or the event.
