Stop wondering, Stop considering and Start believing.

Romans 4:20-21

No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.

When we go through prolonged seasons of waiting, suffering and consistent internal and external battles, it becomes difficult to see that life is not always going to be about suffering, wanting, lacking and fighting for our lives. In fact, our common enemy takes advantage of these seasons of testing and pruning to convince us that we are not loved by God.?

Going through adversity or what is called a wilderness experience for a long time can weaken our faith and give room for doubt and unbelief to creep into our hearts. It tries to alter our mindset into believing that things may continue downward forever. But, this is a lie and negates what the Word of God says concerning us as believers. Rest assured, God will not allow us to go through anything beyond our capacity to endure and overcome. Adversity, well managed with God’s perspective, builds our spiritual stamina, increases our wisdom, and strengthens our character in righteousness.

In my own life, I have experienced prolonged seasons of battles and adversity that made me wonder if truly I have been called by God to do what I am doing. Few times, thoughts that things may never improve or change came to mind but I knew better because I kept studying? and confessing what God has said concerning my destiny through his holy scriptures. Beloved, Stop wondering when things would change and start believing in miracles. Stop considering the reality and facts of your current circumstances and start trusting in God who is able to do all he has promised you.?

It’s time to grow in faith, guys. We cannot continue in these vicious circles of doubt and unbelief. We must ascend higher above the facts. Abraham, our father in this journey of faith, had to wait 25 years extra after the promise of God to make him a father of many nations. Imagine, after 25 years with no child and yet God promised him nations? God had to show him the stars to illustrate what he was about to do for him. Indeed, the thoughts of God toward us are always higher than we can phantom. God is really great, He is. He is too great and can do anything He has promised you.?

Today, I encourage you as I charge myself to believe, to trust and to grow in faith. God is able, abundantly able. He will accomplish His promises and many such things are in his mind toward you. I know God is faithful and I will trust him to fulfil all his promises to me. Here’s what we are urged to do; glorify God, be grateful, show your faith by your works, confess what you believe. Take action for what you believe and be patient. Just know that it is already done. Stop wondering how, stop considering what and start believing now!

Jesus, the Christ, is the author and finisher of our faith. Let him into your life today.
