"Stop Whining, Start Hustling" - Gary Vee's Damaging Advice
Odille Remmert
Helping coaches, therapists, and wellness practitioners overcome self-doubt, confidently charge their worth, and attract aligned clients - while staying authentic - using neuroscience-based tools.
I've created this edition - not to criticize or discount Gary Vee or others who are part of the "hustle culture" - but to give HOPE to those who've tried that, and haven't experienced results.
Business "gurus" like Gary Vee, Alex Hormozi, Steven Bartlett and others are giving advice based on their own experience...
... but they don't know THIS about the human brain.
We are not all starting with the same mental and emotional resources and references.
Success is not a "one-size-fits-all" process.
In the short 7-minute (or 3.5 minutes if you watch it on 2x speed ??) - I share exactly what the difference is between the brains of those who get results from that approach, and those who don't.
It's not your fault, and it's nothing you're doing "wrong."
Your brain is literally, physically different.
And you can change it - so that you then do get the results - automatically (no hustle required!)
Very few people know about this yet, but it is based in neuroscience, and it's a game-changer!
As always, let me know if you have any questions or need clarification on anything.

About the Author:
Co-founder of The Remmert Method? Odille is an empowerment coach, author, and speaker, specializing in the neuroscience of self-image and emotions.
Having dramatically turned her own life around - personally, professionally, and financially, Odille has worked with clients, worldwide, helping them to do the same.
In mid-2015, at 51 years old, Odille was renting a room in a shared house, in Gloucester, England, cleaning houses, doing a few singing gigs, and trying to make a living helping others.
She had overcome depression and being suicidal, however, she continued to experience the life-long pattern of financial struggle and drama which prevented her from being able to pay her bills, despite hard work, constant effort, and a strong work ethic.
Using what she now teaches, based on the latest in neuroscience, Odille transformed her own life by changing the negative unconscious references that were keeping her stuck.
Odille met her husband, Steve, in 2017, and together they created the modality: The Remmert Method - combining techniques for gaining control over brain and body chemistry, and changing implicit memories that form self-image.
Along with all of the other results Odille experienced from using these techniques, she also ended up owning three of the rental properties she used to clean, back in 2015!
Mission:
There are coaches out there who have solutions that could transform lives - but who can't seem to move forward and reach those they could help.
Odille's passion is empowering those coaches by helping them clear the invisible blocks that are holding them back. Because this is about more than helping the coaches - it's about the ripple-effect on all those they will help.

3 个月So funny, I was just talking with a friend about the "one size does not fit all" approach to business -- or life. And of course, comparing oneself to another usually doesn't end well! I think much of their advice is good, when taken in context. The rest comes from your gut. When do pivot and when to just say "f*ck it!" As my mother, Bernice used to say: "Don't give up, you're one f*ck-it away from reaching your goal!"

7 个月Should we (and they, coaches) say “Work Smarter, Not Harder”? By working smarter we can identify what’s is missing/lacking to each one of us to “get to the beach”. This could be internal or external resources, but it’s is crucial to make sure “the car is in order and capable of getting to the beach” or if the “trajectory to the beach has gas stations on the way”.

7 个月This is the flaw in black-and-white thinking, Odille Remmert. They think that either you're hustling and successful, or lazy whiners who are unsuccessful. There's nowhere in that worldview for people who are hustling their butts off and still unsuccessful. ?? Nuance and "It depends" don't make for good sound bites.
