Imagine spending thousands to join a community only to realize the information is outdated, it's filled with motivation p*rn, with no real substance, or the leaders simply weren’t qualified to teach a subject.. they just marketed well.
This is a huge problem in the online space due to a lack of regulation. However, you can protect yourself and find worthwhile communities/programs if you focus on your business design and things that help fill the gaps.
So let’s say visibility is a concern of yours. The most logical answer would be to hire a marketing specialist or join a community that will help enhance your marketing.
This may be true, but you need to do a few things first such as
1) Develop processes surrounding marketing.
This looks like choosing social media channels to be on, figuring out who you want to promote to, and figuring out pain points and how you solve them.
2) Next is to implement and execute your processes.
This looks like actually posting on the social media channel you selected and talking to/engaging with people

3) Start keeping track of KPIs (things you consider measurable based on what you’ve executed).
This looks like keeping track of calls booked, the titles of the people you’ve engaged with, how often certain pain points come up in conversations, etc.
4) Once you’ve done this, you look to see which programs most align with areas you want to improve in or venture out to.
The bottom line is that you need to implement the information first. These programs are not designed to be your savior.
Develop the necessary processes to do this and find help after.
