Stop trying!

How many times have you said, "I'm going to try."

Try to improve.

Try to pass the exam.

Try to build my business.

To get that promotion.

To win the election.

Whatever it is. When we decide to do something, we often say?we're going to try.

Do you do this? I used to do this a lot without even thinking! ??

Here's the thing about trying.

When you use those words, you're coming from a state of separation.?You see yourself as separate from the thing you want to obtain.

Why?

Because trying comes from lack.?When you try, you don't feel?as if the thing is already yours.?

They secret to getting anything in life lies in how you think and feel about it. (By the way, I'm not just saying that, there is plenty of research to back it up.)

That's why you can have two professional athletes who are equally strong, and yet only one of them wins. Because the winner was mentally stronger that day.

I can bet you Roger Federer wasn't telling himself "I'm going to try" before a match he later won. Not a chance. In his mind, he'd already won. He felt it in his bones.

So, next time you want something (a new job or an extra $100k to your bonus) declare it as if it's already happened.?Then act accordingly.

Remember:

Trying is separation.

Feeling as if it's already happened is connection.

It's so happening!??
