Stop trying to sell your stuff (especially to the affluent)

Today's video commentary (plus you get to see we wearing a super-snappy shirt) is HERE.
And away we go...
I know…it sounds ridiculous for me to suggest that you should stop trying to get people to buy your products or services.
But hear me out.
When I was doing the research for my 9th book, The Affluent Marketing Blueprint, I had the opportunity to interview a lot of very wealthy people, and find out who they do business with.
There were 3 primary groups they do business with…
1) Those they know
2) Those that are referred to them by those they know
3) Those that are recognized experts in their field
For a lot of people…especially if you offer high-value services
But here’s a mistake that most people make…and this was recounted to me time and time again from the affluent I interviewed.
You’re pitching your services before a you’ve established yourself as an expert
As a result, the wealthy just ignore you.

The goal of your marketing system
If you can do that…THEN…they will buy your solution.
I was talking with my friend Betty Sinclair the other day. She’s a financial advisor specializing in working with affluent women. We were discussing the classic “know, like and trust
She raised a very valid point. It really should be Know-Trust and if they “like” you…cool…but it’s not a requirement.
And it all starts with creating your platform
I’ve taught a structured process for creating and implementing your platform to individuals and businesses in over 2 dozen different niche industries.
If you’re interested, I can teach it to you too.
