Stop Trying To Do 7 Things At Once!
I've been speaking with a number of agents over the last few weeks around the subject of overwhelm and trying to staying alive and thriving in these times.
You see the biggest issue that I am seeing right now is the fact that people are getting distracted trying to do too many things all at once.
If you want to continue to move forward in business in the times we are in right now then you must stay focused & consistent to generate your results.
I thought to help I would just let you know about some of the things that I do:
1. I will always make sure I understand what I need to do each day. I make sure I have a plan. I split down my tasks into set time intervals so I can ensure I am always remaining productive and focused towards delivering an outcome.
2. The second thing I then do is ensure I have the people that are supporting me directly in the business know exactly what they need to be doing each day. They need to have their targets, their deliverables and their KPIs set out. This is vital.
3. Lastly, and this one is quite simple, but so effective... anything that does not generate income or move the business forward I will always look to delegate! Some of you may not exactly know what it is you are doing... so make sure from today that you have a notepad by your side and you are tracking every task you complete. At the end of the day you can then evaluate and identify what you can pass on to someone else.
The most important message that I am trying to deliver is to stop juggling tasks and wasting time. Its just too precious.
As an agency owner you need to make sure you are doing everything you can to strategically drive your business forward. Focus is everything right now, so make sure it is at the forefront of your mind every time you go to work!

4 年Like the whole concept but I am not very good at putting it into practice . I think I try too hard to give the personal touch to everyone . Rea Estates has never been soo busy and I think a lot of it is down to my own hard work and six day weeks. Maybe I need to learn a lesson from John Paul and delegate more .
