Stop the Stupidity Please

Stop the Stupidity Please

I'll get more out of one piece of data than anybody I know.

Just give me one piece—I don’t need a whole book.

I hope this blog post will give you at least ONE thing you can use to change your life today.

Here it goes…

The dumbest thing I DIDN’T spend money on during my life?

A microphone.

I was 29 years old doing seminars across the country and I was afraid to spend $80 on a microphone—I thought I could just speak loud and save money.

How stupid!

If I did 80 seminars that year, which I probably did, that microphone would have cost me $1 a seminar, and that’s not even counting the convenience it would have offered me by allowing me to talk with my voice at normal volume levels.

A microphone was only $80 and I wouldn’t spend the money on it.

Let me tell you something:

Nobody has an $80 problem.

You have an $80 million problem.

That's how I approach everything now.

Back in the day when I tried to go from $30,000 to $100,000 I just ended up with all the same problems.

It’s the same for everybody—let me explain.

Let's say I'm making pies and I'm making 30 pies.

It’s the same restrictions for 100 pies, that physical universe, I don't have enough time.

I don't have enough dough, and I don't have enough ovens.

So, the guy's like, I'm going to go from 30 to a 100, but well, you can't do that in the space you're in.

So, you need a bigger space, but you don't have the money for a bigger space.

The trick is to create a plan around going from 30 to 300, not 30 to a 100.

Don’t look to go from 30 to 40, 40 to 50, 50 to 60.

You should put a plan to go from 30 to 300 immediately.

You'll be like, I can't do it in my kitchen anymore.

I need more money. I need help immediately.

It unlocks you from this budget, this mentality that trapped me so long from worrying about $80.

Hope that helps you today.

Be Great,

Grant
