When for the CXOs we covered important topics like how fitness leads to?better leadership , better teamwork, and enhanced?confidence & conviction of CXOs , ?and lifestyle habits like the?cold shower ?and its incredible?benefits for the CXOs ?in enhancing productivity, we got several calls for the consultations.

In the last fortnight, our team checked more than 10 high-profile CXOs and found a lot of negative traits in their work patterns.

And, out of them, the most tragic thing tracked was setting unrealistic deadlines and pushing themselves too much to attain them.

Being ambitious is good, respecting deadlines is always better, and leaving our comfort zone is the best most of the time, but we don't find any point in damaging our health for it.

In absence of satisfactory fitness levels, one cannot offer quality services for long and will collapse fast.

We are never against being ambitious; we are here to make the CXOs more ambitious. But we are staunch believers and promoters of well-being so that they can deliver the best throughout their life while enjoying life to the fullest.

And this holistic approach is termed Bi Proficiency.

Technical advancements have made life easier but have also effaced the boundaries of the workplace and timings.???

One of our team members got a poem for the situation, and this poem gave us the idea of this calming and soothing special edition of our newsletter.

First, have a look at the poem-

In a world that's fast and loud,

Technology reigns, we're all endowed.

From morning to night, we're always online,

Our screens are our world, our hearts intertwined.

?

We work and we play, we never take a break,

Our lives are too busy, too much at stake.

We're always connected, but never really present,

Our minds are scattered, our souls are spent.

?

We rush and we hurry, we're always on the go,

We forget to take time, to stop and to slow.

Our lives are a blur; we don't have a clue,

Of the beauty around us, that we're rushing through!

?

We need to unplug, to take a deep breath,

To appreciate life, to embrace it with zest,

Let's put down our screens, and take a long walk,

Let's smell the roses, and have a good talk.

?

Let's remember what's important, and what really counts,

Let's find balance in life, and stop the constant amounts.

Of emails and texts, of notifications and alerts,

Let's live in the present, and heal our hearts.

????

Really this poem not only encapsulated the essence of current happenings but also suggested the solution.

And that solution is- Stop and smell the roses!

It is not about leaving work and rushing to a garden and sniffing the beautiful creation of the lord almighty.

It is an idiomatic phrase that interprets o take time out of one's busy schedule to enjoy or appreciate the beauty of life that lies in small things.

The phrase ‘stop and smell the roses’ means to take a moment to appreciate and enjoy the present moment, rather than always rushing or being too focused on the future.

It encourages people to slow down, be present, and appreciate the simple things in life. It is a reminder to pause and enjoy life's little pleasures and beauty around us, even amidst the busyness and challenges of daily life.

The phrase is often attributed to the golfer Walter Hagen as he mentioned this in his book, ‘The Walter Hagen Story’, published in 1956.

We cannot counter a crisis without knowing its proper cause. Therefore first delve into the details of why we are living such a hectic life.

1.?????Technology

Advances in technology have made it easier to stay connected and productive around the clock. People are constantly checking their emails, texts, and social media accounts, which can create a sense of being "always on."

2.?????Work culture

Many workplaces have a culture that emphasizes long hours and being constantly available. This can create a culture of overwork and burnout.

3.?????Consumerism

The modern consumer culture encourages people to always want more and to work hard to achieve it. This can lead to a sense of never being satisfied and always striving for more.

4.?????Urbanization

As more people move to urban areas, there is a greater focus on productivity and efficiency. Cities can be fast-paced and competitive, which can contribute to feelings of stress and busyness.?

5.?????Peer-Pressure

This is also a big contributor to the trait of not wasting a single second and trying hard to get more returns. Being influenced by what others get or post on social media most people set a target of getting the same thing.

American transcendentalist author Henry David Thoreau, in his book Walden, remarked, “See how he cowers and sneaks, how vaguely all the day he fears, not being immortal nor divine, but the slave and prisoner of his own opinion of himself, a fame won by his own deeds.”

Sometimes, we are really required to hit the pause button and see where we are heading, what it is going to give us, and what would be the repercussions.

We should focus our attention on important things while planning with a long-term vision in mind.

Then only the attempts will be really fruitful.

In place of burning the midnight oil and striving to push ourselves more and more, if the focus is shifted to more productivity and working smarter then the results would astound us.?

And, the most productive thing in this regard is paying attention to health and fitness.

Your fitness is the base of all your work, lives, and relationships. It is not only related to your physical health but has psychological advantages as well.

And, a fit person who will perform better at the workplace needs no elaboration.?
