What is the short game?
The short game is all about doing small things in your life and your business that will give you a short term win. All the small activities that are here in front of you all the time. Doing them as your end all be all.
This is why you are consistently hustling. You’re consistently doing the next thing, feeling like you are in a hamster wheel.
Staying the route you have been will get you through the challenge that you’re in currently. Whether it is taking pain meds to get your body to function. Hustling to get the next client, or just reaching for the next thing that’s in front of you to make that quick buck.
Focus on the long game.
The long game is your foundation. You need to consistently work on those foundations all the time, then, supplement the short game. If you don’t do this, you will fail.
You will find great success playing the short game, but then you will burn out, and then everything is screwed. You won’t have the momentum to get it back. Finding yourself in a cycle of messing up or accidents happening.
So what is the long game? The long game is everything that you do to enhance your mind.

- You’re doing something daily that gets your mind to get better?
You have to evolve. If you’re not able to pivot and move, have the space to be able to feel good inside your head. You’re eventually going to come up through a wall and you’ll fail.
Another foundation is your body.
Are you energetic? Are you able to produce energy naturally?
I’m not talking about supplements like coffee. Those energy drinks, sodas, all these things that you put in when you feel low to pick yourself back up.
Can you generate it on your own? And do you have a routine that helps you do it that you do daily? If you don’t keep on daily videos.
Are you managing your stress load? Do you have a routine that gets you to stay calm in your mind and in your body that happens daily?
Now that sounds like a lot. That’s a lot of, a lot of things to do, but it’s not, it’s not as hard as you think. It’s you’re so conditioned to play the short game that you don’t even realize the long game exists.
The long game is so much better. It’s so much easier. And it’s well, like, I can’t say this enough and it’s so simple. You don’t think about it because it’s freaking the turtle, not the hair mentality. It’s always slow and steady. One step at a time. One thing at a time and it doesn’t have to be something long and tedious.
Today, what you need to do is stop playing the short game. Start investing in those foundational tips that enhance your mind, enhances your body. Invest in a routine that works as a system.
