Stop Paying "The Raw Chicken"? Sales Tax
Not saying people won't eat it, but in America... it's a damn hard sell, right?

Stop Paying "The Raw Chicken" Sales Tax

Under normal circumstances, today would be tax day.

Taxes [cringe]...

Ugh…

A word that has so much emotional charge, yet… it’s something we ALL gotta deal with.

Some of us do our darndest to avoid it (ahem…) and some of us can’t wait to get our check BACK from the government for overpaying it.

Have you considered the idea that you pay taxes in other areas of your life without even knowing it?

One definition of tax is as a strain or heavy demand.

A burden?

I think so.

There are certainly a LOT of bad taxes when you look at this way.

Want is the tax you pay for ingratitude.

Oppression is the tax you pay for not fighting back.

Ignorance is the tax you pay for not learning.

Failure is the tax you pay for giving up… or not trying at all.

Trust is the tax you pay for lying or cheating.

Ego is the tax you pay for trying to attain higher status.

But…

There are some good taxes, too.

Taxes WORTH paying.

Like what?

Wisdom is the tax you pay for experienced knowledge, doing and trying.

Innovation is the tax you pay for survival.

And easier sales are the tax you pay when you focus on buyers.

Speaking of buyers, did you know objections are really simply a tax you pay for NOT learning how to properly sell?

Seriously.

Most people cause objections to whatever it is they sell.

It’s true.

They straight up give prospects raw objections, which makes actually selling to the prospects so much harder.

Raw objections are like raw food at a restaurant.

Imagine walking into a Chinese restaurant, you order the chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce (how oddly specific).

The cashier goes away and comes back seconds later with a raw chicken breast, some uncooked broccoli and a few unpeeled cloves of garlic.

Throws that in a bag, tosses in some soy sauce and a fortune cookie and tells you that’ll be $10.47.

Lemme ask you something… are you gonna pay for that?

Unless you’re a fan of food poisoning, I’m gonna bete no, right?

But that’s exactly what most folks do when selling their whatever.

If you wanna sell at higher fees, stop giving out raw chicken objections.

Another thing you gotta realize is… you’re not offering takeout or fast food, right?

So why try selling your goods the same way?

Anyways, this quickly went from taxes to Chinese food, so I’d better stop here while I still make a small semblance of sense.

For those of you that dig the analogy, so glad.
