Stop overthinking the little things.

Stop overthinking the little things.

We live in a day and age where many people overthink everything, people - including myself, contemplate to themselves and stress themselves out over very little and miniscule things.

For example, today.

Today (bear in mind I am 15) my Dad asked me if I wanted to go to Bass Pro Shops with him and my outdoorsman brother. I, who loves nature and am outside all the time, don't like fishing and hunting so at first I said I'm good.

However, this good came with 20 minutes of stressing myself out over "what would my day look like if I went" and "what would I do if I were to not go".

After that "I'm good", I felt a weird sort of way. A way where I knew I was stressing myself out over this so much I should just go.

So I went.

I went and had an incredible time, it was Black Friday, so sweatshirts were only $10 and I had a great time looking around a massive store (I even got a picture with Santa haha). I also had a great time checking the city out and had some of the best buffalo wings I've ever had.

However, when I got home, I thought to myself.

"Why was this ever such a big decision".

To be perfectly honest with you, I am not sure. I had no clue why I was so confused and didn't know why I had such a hard time picking such a small decision (and the yes turned out to be an incredible time).

Overall, the moral of the story is to stop overthinking the small things and say yes, it will take you to some really cool experiences.
