Stop Mourning. Start Adapting.
The end suddenly seems near.
Almost every executive I've had coaching calls with the last few weeks is stressing about whether their organization/team is ready for the post-pandemic world.
I'll get into what ONE QUESTION I'm asking all of them in a minute. But, first, I need to walk you through the framework we created last year in response to all the teams we were working with that were struggling with the enormous amount of change.
Anytime an undesired change happens in our lives we immediately enter a period of mourning.
Divorce. Disease. Death. Job loss. Quarantine. Online school. Budget cuts. Customer demand shifts. They all lead to mourning.

3 年Agree with this Russ. Didn't they have a year to figure this out? Reminds me of Tortoise and the Hare. Although it's kind of like a Lucy/Charlie moment; she says for years prior that the companies need to innovate and be more flexible, regardless of their size or industry; Charlie stomps his foot down and says no, it's got to be the way it's always been. Hmm, maybe we need to get Snoopy involved here, after all, didn't he build a flying doghouse? All of this of course is my opinion, haters need not respond.
