Stop Letting People Play in Your Face

Happy Saturday! It's that time again ...

LinkedIn and chill.

I feel like this week flew by. Is it just me?

But before we dive all the way in, if you have been impacted by hurricane Helene, I'm sending you so much love and praying for you. As a Floridian, I know how damaging those storms can be. Thankfully, we only had wind and rain here in Orlando.

So, what was I up to this week.

I've been deep in the lab working on presentations for next month for HRSW Conference and for a corporate client in New York.

I also had a couple of calls this week with brilliant thought leaders about them working with me to craft their signature talks.

I got out of the house!!! If you don't know, I'm a true homebody. I love being inside. But I had lunch with an amazing woman I met at a conference last week. Wait, Harpo, who dis? Outside two weeks in a row.

Yep and next week will make 3. ??

Next week I'll be in full gear preparation for the launch of After HouHERs??. Have you signed up yet? If not, why not? Women this is the place you need to be!

Not to mention, I'll be finalizing the curriculum for High-Stakes Arena??. October 11th is the last day to register.

And I have a brainstorming day with my very good friend and accountability partner. Can't wait!

Oh and I did have a couple of celebrations this week:

?? I made the finalist list for the Women Changing the World Awards for the Entrepreneur of the Year category.

?? My company was recertified as a Women's Business Enterprise and newly certified as a Woman Owned Small Business.

??I had a meeting that has taken me one step closer to a vision I've had for years. I'm so giddy about this. Fingers crossed.

?? And the best part of the week, was that I got to spend time with my mom and dad. I'm blessed to still have them in my life.

?? I started the week off with off with a poll about how confident you are in standing up for yourself when your authority, position, or personhood is questioned.

?? I also posted a reminder about my new After HouHERs ?? community and what you can expect when you join.

?? Tuesday, I dropped a new newsletter about the insidious kryptonite to your peace and prosperity. This is a must read and share!

?? Wednesday, I dropped a one question poll for my speakers and aspiring speakers about tools, resources or guidance they would find most valuable to building or growing their speaking business. If you're a speaker or aspiring speaker, please respond. I'm trying to see something.

?? Thursday, I went on a rant about women speaking up after a post I saw on Facebook pissed me off.

?? I also released a new newsletter about 5 strategies for people to put some "respeck" on your name.

?? Yesterday, I posted about my stint as a fitness bikini competitor. I'm sure the pictures probably shocked a few people on LinkedIn but they'll be alright.
