Stop Letting Life Knock You Down! Fight Back with Prayer.

Do you ever feel overwhelmed and afraid, like life's challenges are piling up and there's no way out??

Maybe you're the one who dots all the I's and crosses all the T's, but still feel lost and unfulfilled.?

If you're nodding your head right now, there's a reason.

Maybe it's time to consider the power of prayer.?

Building a Connection for Greater Benefits

Prayer is an underrated secret to success.

But it's more than just getting things.

It's about building a connection with a higher power—a connection that brings immense benefits to your life.

Why is prayer so powerful?

Because you didn't create yourself or the world around you.

Think about water, air, land, plants, and animals; none of this is your creation.

There's a higher power, and for many, that power is God.

Even Logic Points to Something Greater

Even atheists agree that everything that is created needs a creator.

They'll say a car needs a manufacturer, a watch needs a maker, and a TV needs someone to build it.

But somehow, the world around them doesn't?

They might say the Big Bang Theory explains it all, but give me a break.

Finding Purpose and Peace Through Faith

For me, choosing God comes with the promise of eternal life.

He washed away my sins and gave me purpose.

Whatever I've prayed for with intention, I've received—maybe not exactly when or how I expected, but it came to be.

Again, prayer is about more than just getting things.

It's about building a connection with God—a oneness that brings peace and joy.

True happiness isn't in fleeting worldly things.

It comes from a place of peace and security that only a connection with God can provide.

That new car? The excitement fades.

That new house? It will need repainting someday.

Prayer: The Way to Change Stubborn Situations

Hey but you don’t have to listen to me.

Don’t pray at all…

  • Keep letting the devil make your body a home for all the deadly diseases in the world.
  • Keep having family members die every 6 months.
  • Keep letting your boss talk down on you.
  • Keep letting people take advantage of you.
  • Keep letting life’s challenges beat you to a pulp.
  • Keep letting your competitors stomp on you because you won’t get great at marketing and selling.

The point is, prayer is the most underrated variable in your success equation.

It's not about replacing hard work or strategic planning, but about adding an element of faith and guidance to your endeavors.

Prayer: Beyond the Natural

It trumps mentorship, marketing, networking, and strategy—all important, but none compare to seeking guidance from your creator, God.

He is the alpha and omega, the father of all spirits.

Wise men and women throughout history have been people of faith: Jesus, David, Solomon, Esther, and Ruth.

Think about it: in a crisis, would you put your faith in the Big Bang Theory or God?

When a loved one is sick with stage 4 cancer, do you rely on surgeons alone?

If you’re in a plane that’s about to crash, do you rely on the pilots alone?

You don't have to wait for extreme situations to remember God.

He loves you and wants a relationship, not just when you're in trouble.

He gave you free will to choose Him—light or darkness, heaven or hell, God or Satan.

His love is so vast that even those who deny Him get to enjoy His creation.

After all, you still enjoy the sun and rain, whether you believe in Him or not.

But eternal life comes through Jesus Christ.

Mark 8:36 says, 'For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?'

You could be richer than Elon Musk, but wealth means nothing without a place in heaven.

We all return to dust eventually.

The richest people leave nothing but clothes and maybe an expensive coffin.

What truly matters is being on the right side of God.

You want success?

Yes, work hard, but pray harder.

Yes, learn constantly, but deepen your Bible study.

Yes, network strategically, but go to church.

Yes, strive to be a billionaire, but also become a person with Godly purpose.

Daylight Robbery Unfolds

Let me tell you a story that illustrates the importance of faith.

I recently watched a video on Instagram, and in the video, there were two boxers fighting, a Nigerian and a Ghanaian.

I love fighting sports, so count me in for boxing or mixed martial arts.

Call me biased if you want, but I’d say the Nigerian boxer took Round 1, even though it was close.

However, the Nigerian boxer twice knocked out his Ghanaian opponent in round 2, the second time the Ghanaian boxer was out completely and receiving medical attention.

You know what was interesting?

The judges scored the bout a "technical draw" (whatever the heck that means).

You can call the decision a daylight robbery, but it happened.

Even though the Nigerian boxer clearly dominated the fight, the judges ruled it a draw.?

This left many confused about the real outcome.

Link to Instagram reel.

Which leads me to think about what goes on everyday in the life of a prayer-less person.

Things that were supposed to happen for you all of a sudden gets taken away.

If this describes your life, stop reading this article and fall down on your knees in prayer right now.

The devil is robbing you of your joy, peace, and prosperity.

But you have a choice.

You can call it happenstance, or you can call it what it needs to be called and fight with prayer like your life depends on it because it really does.

Conclusion

So, if you're feeling stuck, lost, unhappy, sick, or grieving, don’t despair.

A stronger relationship with God is what you need.

In good times and bad, a connection with your maker is essential.

My life is filled with testimonies of how prayer has saved me and others.

One example: in January 2022, my friend's 90-year-old mother had heart failure.

It looked grim, but through prayer and faith, she recovered completely.

This is just one of countless examples of the power of prayer in my life.

Now, while you may have achieved much in your life, there's a deeper kind of fulfillment that comes from a connection with something greater than yourself.?

Consider opening yourself up to the possibility of faith and prayer.

It might just change your life.

Today’s Prayer:

Dear God (or whichever higher power you feel comfortable with).

I come to you today feeling lost, in pain, stressed, grateful, etc..? I acknowledge that I am not alone in this world, and that you are a source of strength and guidance.

(Optional: If you have a specific request, you can add it here. Be clear and concise about what you're asking for.)

Help me find peace and clarity in my life.?

Guide me towards making decisions that are in line with your will.?

I open myself up to your love and grace.

Thank you for all the blessings in my life.

Amen.
