Stop Juggling 136 Issues

When I started my first business, I was in my mid 20's, I had no idea what was ahead of me but I remember being so damn excited by all the challenges that came my way.
“Hey Reyan, you need more clients?” I was on to it!
“Hey Reyan, the BAS is due!” No problem, let me at it! For the record I hate bookkeeping.
“Hey Reyan, you need to hire someone?” I just popped on my HR hat and started recruiting.
I wore so many different hats, from operations to finance, to everything in between, which is common when you’re first starting out.
As the business grew and through to the merger with Evologic, things continued to get more and more complex and the constant role shifting had to stop.
Letting go as a leader can be daunting; do you have the right people? are you tracking the right numbers? are your processes all documented? Do your team share your vision?
The doubt can be crippling and often puts us into a leadership tail spin, you try your hardest to let go and just keep coming back to it being easier to do it yourself. Meanwhile you are working 12 hours days and waking up at 2am in the morning worrying about your business.

I have been there, it's not fun and I want you to know that there is hope, and the one thing that ultimately gets us out of that mindset and eternal mind loop is structure. Finding a place for all those 136 issues we juggle with is critical for our businesses to grow!
For me, it wasn't easy going from an owner of my own business to a leader in a larger organisation, letting go was difficult and frankly different, it took me a few years to settle into the leadership role and understand that my biggest value to the business was to be a part of the amazing leadership team at Evologic, and lead our team.
And we did…
We achieved this by implementing EOS?, identifying the key areas of our business, compartmentalising our issues, tracking the right numbers and getting our processes in line, and most importantly we got really good at resolving our issues for good. ?
Any business can achieve this, if you are a leader who is more afraid of the status quo than of change and if you have a leadership team that wants to grow with you, then implementing EOS? will give the edge over your competition and allow you to stop juggling those 136 issues all at once.
If you would like to find out more about EOS? and how I can help you implement it in your organisation, then get in touch. In the meantime, I highly recommend reading Traction by Gino Wickman, focusing on chapter 3-5 specifically, if the book resonates with you, and you want to find out more, please get in touch.
