Stop Hiding
I have always had the mindset that genuineness is not boasted about – when you help someone and not tell anyone, your good deed is more meaningful and seeking public praise is more about your ego than lifting someone.??
I have since had a change of heart. We should stop hiding and share what we do for others, no matter how big or how small…bringing awareness to your good deeds may encourage others to do the same.
There will be do-gooders that are looking for the glory of the story but bottom line if they helped improve someone’s day or someone’s life, they still did a good thing no matter their intention.
I am passionate about helping others and encourage you to do the same.?The warmth and satisfaction you get from helping a person in need is priceless.
As Maya Angelou has taught us “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel”.
And recently, I have felt lifted through the kindness of complete strangers just wanting to help a fellow human being while not expecting anything in return – that’s genuine and I am so very grateful for their realness and generosity (of time).
You’d be surprised how even a small act of kindness can have an impact.
Stop hiding what you do for others – keep it going and shout about it.
