Stop Grinding for God

Stop Grinding for God

Last week I introduced you to someone very special to me,?David Meltzer.

On one of his Friday?‘lives’?(streaming on Clubhouse and IG to name just two) that he does at 9am CST, he had a guest?who?said “Stop Grinding for God!” Wow, this really?resonated with?me!

Are you someone like me who tends to feel that if they are not constantly working and doing, that they are not doing enough?

I also heard this?stated?another way in Gabby Bernstein’s book?Super Attractor?that we have to stop ‘manic manifesting’. I literally laughed out loud when I heard that, because?at times, it can describe me?too?accurately!

My word this year has been ‘ease’ because I really wanted to have more of that in my life and to?allow?God to bring the blessings He has for me, instead of?my?constantly feeling?as if?I had to chase them down with my efforts. If I have to force something to come together successfully then who gets the glory? I want it to be all Him.

Things are starting to happen,?and?yes, I am putting effort?into those things.?However,?how?all of this?is coming together?promises?to?go?beyond my wildest dreams and I could not have MADE it happen?even?if I had tried!

Here are some steps I have taken that I hope will help you:

  • I?had?to let go of all of the things I had been doing,?but no longer?had excitement or passion for, and believe me this was harder than I thought?it?was going to be! ‘Doers’ die hard! LOL
  • I had to make some shifts in my living situation and?the way in which?I worried about money. Letting go meant change in income stream but I want you to know this can also be done. I have great mentors in this?area?of my life?that?helped with the money mindset and how to see my wealth in other areas.
  • I?have?surrounded myself with people who are holding me accountable; to?ensure I am?not going backwards and make sure I keep having FUN in my life!
  • It’s?no?secret that I have quiet time in the morning in which I pray, journal, and ask God to put?on?my heart?only to?do the things He is calling me to do that day. This WORKS!

I have a mantra in my office that I have been living by this year:

“Do more of what I love, less of what I tolerate, and none of what I despise”

This one has been hard for me, too, but am working on it. Doing doesn't go easily ??
