STOP Forcing People Into an Office To Do Zoom Calls

STOP Forcing People Into an Office To Do Zoom Calls

I used to commute 3 hours per day.

That's:

- 15 hours per week

- 60 hours per month

- 720 hours per year

- 30 days per year

→?One MONTH per year ??

It's INSANE when we think about it that way.

So much time is wasted on commuting.

→ Remote work changed EVERYTHING for me.

It has enabled me to:

- have time for life

- be a present parent

- access top talent for my business

- build a global online business with clients all over the world

→ I can work from anywhere.

We all CAN.

Keilian and Prags

I asked the Founders of Pangea.ai ?→?Prags and Keilian, on what their view of remote work is.

This is what they said:

We have a fully remote team with talent from all over the world.?This belief that?remote work is less productive, and assuming that hiring remotely limits your talent pool - needs to stop.

Actually a recent survey of over 1,000 UK employees showed:

  • 59% of fully remote workers feel they have time to relax (versus 46% of in-office workers)
  • 67% of fully remote workers rate their productivity as high (compared to 54% of hybrid workers)
  • 57% of fully remote workers report improved work-life balance in the last 3 months (compared to 44% of hybrid workers)

Remote workers ARE more productive.

They enjoy a better work-life balance.

Prags

It's not about where you work, but HOW you work.

Remote work, async work and check-ins create a thriving community across the world.

Access to global talent means diversifying your team and making an impact.

Remote companies need to act with purpose and responsibility.

Creating a positive, inclusive, and flexible work environment is key to long-term success. No one wants to go to the office to have Zoom calls.

Literally no one.

Thinking you can't build strong connections in remote teams is simply wrong.

You can.

Give your people the BEST quality of life.

I can't agree more with them.

This is what the majority of the world of work wants today:

→? Flexibility and CHOICE.

Let's continue helping people in all locations get access to work.

Agree?

AI is changing the way we work by enhancing human skills rather than replacing them. At StepUp.One, we see how AI redefines possibilities, much like how remote work has broken down traditional office boundaries. Just as remote work expands freedom and flexibility, AI opens up new dimensions in how we approach marketing, sales, and business growth. It challenges us to rethink what's possible and push beyond old limitations. This shift marks the future of work, where understanding AI becomes as essential as any foundational skill. #FutureOfWork #AITransformation #DigitalInnovation

I love the second part on that banner “to do zoom calls” hahaha Every time I have to go in, the internet in the building if awful, I have to use my phone data. Most times I have to go in, I end up looking for a separate room to join meetings. I agree, remote is the way

I truly appreciate this article on remote work. Every variation of work is not for everyone. However, those employees who value fully remote environments will demonstrate their abilities and capabilities when in work settings that align with their work preferences. Conversely, those employees that prefer work settings that provide hybrid options will do the same. And then those employees that prefer fully brick and mortar will thrive in their environment. Of course we will have the outliers that will not thrive in either setting for what ever reasons exist or challenges that are beyond work locations. Giving employees choices may be the ticket to boost the bottom line of ROIs. The saying "Happy Wife, Better Life." I will say "Happy Employee, Better ROI."
