Stop Fidgeting

I know other sports have starting positions but I am most familiar with the sprinter coming out of the blocks. There are some things about that sport that can be applied to other aspects of life. Here are some things to ponder and apply.
You have to motivate yourself everyday. And only you can motivate yourself.
Practice with the best in the game to keep working on your game. Get around runners that stretch you.
Do it imperfectly and learn from it.
Believe in yourself.
Visualize the finish line.
Do not dwell over the last race. Success or failure.
Have fun.
Be grateful.
And for goodness sake, stop fidgeting in the blocks, adjusting the blocks, fixing your hands. Go! You have to come out of the blocks to run the race. And realize that some days, the victory is being courageous enough to start.
