Stonebridge further strengthens operations with two new hires

Stonebridge, the national mortgage and protection network, continues to invest in growing its AR support functions with the appointment of Matt B. and James P. , who take on the roles of Quality and Performance Manager and Business Standards Assessor Team Manager, respectively.

Both of the network’s latest hires have been mortgage advisers during their careers: Buckland as a whole of market broker for Sequence and Porter as a mortgage adviser with Nationwide. The duo has extensive experience in their respective fields across subsequent posts that include positions at Lloyds Banking Group and HL Partnership for Buckland, and Openwork and PRIMIS for Porter.

Stonebridge highlighted that these roles are in addition to the existing Stonebridge teams and are a sign of their ongoing commitment to building quality infrastructure alongside adviser growth.

Porter joins Stonebridge from PRIMIS, having spent five and a half years at the network, where he was responsible for file assessment. Buckland joins from Giving Mortgages, where he was Compliance Manager.

The new hires were announced as Stonebridge reveals a year-on-year increase in the level of satisfaction, as reported by network members, with the support delivered across its compliance and business development support and its wholly owned platform, Revolution.

Recent independent industry research also highlighted that Stonebridge saw the largest number of ARs join the network in the first half of 2024 than any other pure mortgage and protection network in the UK.

The network recently welcomed Daniel Darby to the newly created role of Protection Account Manager and Oliver Couchman as National Recruitment Manager.
