So some people like me have limited cupboard and freezer space. Also some things we need are perishable and we don't want to have to keep going out. Here are some tips that may help:
- Switch from bread to wraps and naan or anything else flatter. You can still have your sandwiches but flatter. Wraps can be stored in the freezer so they keep.
- Switch to powdered milk. I know it doesn't taste the same but you can buy multiple bags and put it in your cupboard to use for cooking and drinking.
- When you buy things like frozen pizzas or other things that actually are wrapped inside as well as in a box, take them out of the box and put them directly in the freezer. You can cut the instruction of the box and either file it or tape it to the plastic packaging.
- Buy frozen vegetables. They still have nutrients and will last longer than putting them in your fridge.
- When you buy tea bags, rather than keeping them in the box if you have smaller tupperware containers you can take them out of the box and store them in there. The boxes are most often much larger than the space to store the bags and the tupperware containers will stack nicely. The same can be said for things like pasta and rice and other things like that especially if they come in a box.
If you have tips please comment below or email me. I am looking for whatever I can do to save space and still stock up.
