STL deepens partnership with Vocus?
STL recently announced another milestone in its partnership with Vocus Group, a specialist fibre and network solutions provider in Australia. The new multi-year partnership will see increased usage of STL’s ultra-slim profile Micro TM cables in Vocus’ network and STL’s flagship Stellar TM fibre, the world’s first bend-resilient fibre with backward compatibility to fibre found in legacy networks.
STL reports ~INR 900 Cr orders in FY24 from fiberisation projects in India
STL announced that it has been awarded orders worth ~INR 900 crore in FY24 to provide integrated optical solutions to the leading service providers in the country. In the process, STL, through its advanced Optical solutions and Smart Fibre Deployment services, will support service providers in bringing high-speed connectivity to Indians in more than 20 states.

India’s Department of Telecommunications (DoT) reportedly announced on Friday that it has launched an experimental license module that will allow its established 5G labs across India to test 5G use cases. The DoT has set up 5G use case labs within 100 institutes across the country with the objective of building competencies and engagement in 5G technologies for students and startup communities.
