New Platform Partnerships and Progress That Defined Us

We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with GPOs, or Group Purchasing Organizations, such as Avendra, Foodbuy, Hilton Supply Management, and Source1 Powered by Buyers Edge, expanding our role as a trusted linen supplier. These platforms enable businesses to come together as a collective group of buyers to secure services or products at competitive prices. By leveraging the collective purchasing power of their members, GPOs motivate suppliers to offer substantial discounts, with savings increasing as membership grows.

Avendra, the largest hospitality procurement services provider in North and Central America and the Caribbean, combines deep industry expertise with personalized service to help clients optimize purchasing operations, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance. Foodbuy, the food service industry's leading procurement organization, leverages $35B in purchasing power and a network of over 600 manufacturers and distributors to provide sourcing solutions and lower costs for Compass Group and other top organizations. Hilton Supply Management, or HSM, one of the world's leading hospitality supply chain solutions providers, allows Garnier Thiebaut USA to collaborate with over 140 unique Hilton brands, leveraging their $13B purchasing power to deliver exceptional value through sustainable and inclusive sourcing. Source1 Powered by Buyers Edge is a leading platform used by the food service and hospitality sectors to source top-quality products at competitive prices, ensuring businesses meet operational needs while maximizing value.

These partnerships not only allow us to deliver premium linens but also provide enhanced purchasing visibility and exclusive benefits, helping hospitality partners elevate guest experiences. Becoming a certified supplier through these GPOs involves a rigorous vetting process that evaluates product quality, ethical sourcing, and operational reliability. Our inclusion in these distinguished networks underscores our commitment to excellence and sustainability while positioning us to serve better the hospitality industry's evolving needs.

Sustainability Milestones That Make a Difference

This year, Garnier Thiebaut USA reached significant sustainability milestones. We earned a Bronze EcoVadis medal in September, ranking in the top 35% for sustainability practices. This distinction highlights our steadfast commitment to protect the earth, with a focus on minimizing environmental impact, upholding labor and human rights, maintaining ethical standards, and ensuring sustainable procurement practices. In April, we expanded our partnership with Evertreen, bringing the total number of mangrove trees planted to 15,000 across Madagascar and Kenya. These achievements reflect our dedication to environmental responsibility, supporting wildlife, sustainable agriculture, and local communities while addressing climate change. New Addition to the I Love My Chef Product Line

Initially created as a heartfelt initiative to support chefs during the challenges of the pandemic, the I Love My Chef collection has grown into a celebrated line that now includes aprons, kitchen towels, and stylish hats. What began as a gesture of solidarity has evolved into an enduring partnership with culinary professionals, reflecting our deep appreciation for their creativity and dedication.

This collection not only celebrates the artistry and passion of chefs but also emphasizes functionality and style, catering to their everyday needs. Through ongoing collaborations and insights from culinary experts, we continue to enhance the collection, ensuring it remains a meaningful tribute to those shaping the culinary world. Our commitment to supporting chefs extends beyond products, fostering a relationship built on respect and a shared passion for exceptional craftsmanship.

RFID Labels

Earlier this year, Garnier Thiebaut USA introduced RFID technology in its linens to help hospitality partners track usage, inventory, and laundry cycles. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) uses electromagnetic waves to identify and monitor items, with labels sewn seamlessly into the linens. These labels store information like serial numbers, descriptions, and care instructions, which can be quickly accessed with RFID readers. This innovative program aims to save time and labor, reduce missing or damaged linens, and enhance laundry management.
