With the release of SML 6.8, Stirlitz Media has lifted the cap on the number of AES67 sources that can be captured from AoIP platforms such as Axia Livewire, WheatNet, Dante and other AES67 compatible systems. And thanks to the new responsive design, the SML webPlayer layout will adjust to any device you use - from wide-screen desktop to a smartphone.
Capture 256 AES67 sources on a single server
SML captures the audio, up to 24bit uncompressed, directly from the NIC without the need for a driver. It then stores the audio as PCM or compressed to MP3 and makes it available to users only seconds after recording, through the SML webPlayer on any device with a modern browser.
Together with the option to run SML on virtualized instances and in the cloud, this greatly increases the flexibility and scalability of compliance monitoring systems at broadcasters and distribution platforms.

Thanks to responsive design the SML webPlayer layout will adjust to the device you use - from wide-screen desktop to a smartphone.
On a large screen, the webPlayer will display the unique 5-bar Timeline, the calendar function, one or more video screens, associated metadata and export lists all in one view. When using smaller (mobile) screens the webPlayer will prioritize active webPlayer modules. This enables fast and efficient operations such as: export list building and editing; metadata search; and moving through the archive using the calendar function or Timeline.
Even complicated actions like multichannel play-back combined with frame accurate export list building, switching between the Timeline and the calendar/time function are a breeze with the SML webPlayer!
