India is formulating the new STI Policy. The whole process is divided in 4 tracks. The track 2 is an important part of the whole process,-with 21 thematic groups (TG)- as specific sub-areas. Subject matter experts, policy fellows and DST, PSA officials are involved in track 2 to bring out evidence based recommendations from each TG. An expert committee will oversee the compilation of those recommendation to bring out the 1st draft.
