Without ambition one starts nothing. Without work one finishes nothing. The prize will not be sent to you. You have to win it. Once you realize you deserve a bright future, letting go of your dark past is the best choice you will ever make. It's never too late to change your life for the better. You don't have to take huge steps to change your life. Making even the smallest changes to your daily routine can make a big difference to your life. Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change. The biggest wall you have to climb is the one you build in your mind: Never let your mind talk you out of your dreams, trick you into giving up. Never let your mind become the greatest obstacle to success. To get your mind on the right track, the rest will follow. Maturity is when you stop complaining and making excuses, and start making changes. If you hang out with chickens, you're going to cluck and if you hang out with eagles, you're going to fly. A Master Jedi feels emotions, but they do not allow them to influence their reasoning. Yoda told Luke that he would know the good from the bad when he was calm, at peace.
If you have a strong purpose in life, you don't have to be pushed. Your passion will drive you there. Stop giving other people the power to control your happiness, your mind, and your life. If you don't take control of yourself and your own life, someone else is bound to try. Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it. You are unique. You have different talents and abilities. You don’t have to always follow in the footsteps of others. And most important, you should always remind yourself that you don't have to do what everyone else is doing and have a responsibility to develop the talents you have been given. Courage is feeling fear, not getting rid of fear, and taking action in the face of fear. Sometimes we forget about our own advantages because we focus on what we don't have. Just because you have to work a little harder at something that seems easier to others doesn't mean you're without your own talents. I’ve learned that no matter how inspired, fired up and motivated you might be, the dark clouds will always attempt and try to set in.
People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, make them. You have to accept whatever comes, and the only important thing is that you meet it with the best you have to give. A young outcast will often feel that there is something wrong with himself, but as he gets older, grows more confident in who he is, he will adapt, he will begin to feel that there is something wrong with everyone else. Plants are more courageous than almost all human beings: an orange tree would rather die than produce lemons, whereas instead of dying the average person would rather be someone they are not. The difference between those who adapted and those who didn't, was a willingness to totally commit.
When in a relationship, a real man doesn't make his woman jealous of others, he makes others jealous of his woman. I will be generous with my love today. I will sprinkle compliments and uplifting words everywhere I go. I will do this knowing that my words are like seeds and when they fall on fertile soil, a reflection of those seeds will grow into something greater. Holding a grudge & harboring anger/resentment is poison to the soul. Get even with people but not those who have hurt us, forget them, instead get even with those who have helped us. Real change is difficult at the beginning, but gorgeous at the end. Change begins the moment you get the courage and step outside your comfort zone; change begins at the end of your comfort zone. Judging is preventing us from understanding a new truth. Free yourself from the rules of old judgments and create the space for new understanding.
Despite what you may believe, you can disappoint people and still be good enough. You can make mistakes and still be capable and talented. You can let people down and still be worthwhile and deserving of love. Everyone has disappointed someone they care about. Everyone messes up, lets people down, and makes mistakes. Not because we’re inadequate or fundamentally inept, but because we’re imperfect and fundamentally human. Expecting anything different is setting yourself up for failure. At any given point you can release your greatest self. Don’t let anyone hold you back. Don’t let anyone dilute you. Don’t be peer pressured into being less than you are. People willing to dilute themselves for the sake of others is one of the great tragedies of our time. Stop letting others define and set the pace for your life.
We need to send our words out in the direction we want them to go. In other words, we need to start talking victory when we’re staring at defeat. We need to start talking healing when we’re feeling sick. We need to start blessing and prosperity when we don’t have anything. We need to speak about marching when we feel like quitting. Never stop acquiring the commonsense, it is as good as the knowledge. Don't be distracted by criticism. Remember the only taste of success some people have is when they take a bite out of you. Have nuts and be nuts.
The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
