Still Time to Participate
From the Salem-Keizer Area Transportation Plan , the area Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization, is an Open House for the SKATS Metropolitan Transportation Safety Action Plan. The open house closes April 3rd. As of last week, we’ve had over 500 people respond to the survey questions, plus hundreds of entries on the online map.
As part of the final push for public participation, please check out the social media videos that Cherriots and City of Salem helped us produce (thank you again Trevor Smith and Brian Hagedorn). They are located on the MWVCOG’S Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/mwvcog There are videos from Salem (Mayor Hoy, Councilor Virginia Stapleton, Councilor Jose Gonzalez, and Councilor Trevor Phillips); Keizer Mayor Cathy Clark; and from Cherriots (Directors Ian Davidson, Maria Hinojos Pressey, and Sadie Carney).
Please let folks in our area know that there is still time to participate in this Safety Action Plan and please share this with your networks.
