Are there still prejudices and attitudes like that?!

It happened in the last few months, I applied for the position of chief in my division. So far everything is normal. What was not normal, was the first observation of a superior (woman): “but how are you going to do with your family?†The best thing was after in the interview, where someone told me clearly: “you are an excellent coach, you have many good ideas, but you don’t have no chief experienceâ€.
And it is true in addition to managing a family in which I am the only one with a salary and who has seven children, in addition to being president of a Parents' Association with recruited workers, in addition to belonging to a committee to recruit a director of a group of schools with 1600 students, in addition to many functions as a leader in voluntary associations and in addition to teaching new colleagues everything that is done in the division, I have no experience as a leader.
I think that if that were the case, no one would ever be able to become a leader.
Whoever uses the family size argument, and if it is conditioned, I respond with applications that I have already made for careers in International Organizations: New York, Paris, or for example, last month for an International Organization based in Madrid. And yes, if ever I am selected, I will perform the functions with the same rigor as being single, having one, or as is the case with seven children. I was teacher and I am a Data Analyst and managing people and resources is my day-to-day, I have more people at home than in my division.
