Still, I Rise, Made Of Steel & Stone

#SUNDAYMUSINGS:***********

I woke up this morning truly rested and reflective on my journey so far.

*****I realise how resilient I am, how packed with steel and stone I am. Below is a snippet of what I have so far undergone in my short lived life.

√having seen the barrel of a gun,****

√raped in front of my 3-year-old daughter ****

√ both of us left for dead on a beach****

√ been homeless as teenager*****

√ not one but two failed marriages( not proud but it's my reality****

Hence I stay single now to be more discerning) *****

√ not to mention the monies I have lost*****

√the personal family issues I have endured ****

√the things I now go through that I will speak out on one day****

√spent a night in jail here in the UK******

√being convicted innocently then appealed and won*****

√survived a 26-months court battle with my ex*****

I smiled to myself as I reminded myself that if those things didn't tear me apart, then MY GOD must have me preserved for a purpose.

Be encouraged this Sunday morning understanding that you are made of SteelandStone and God has a plan for your life hence he puts you through the fire.
