Still a High Flyer at 80 (years young)!

Martin Burns was one of the original founders of Strathkelvin Instruments. He is as active today as he was back then, in spite of reaching his landmark 80th Birthday. As Strathkelvin's Technical Director, Martin has shared the remarkable journey of the Patented ASP-Con Instrument from drawing board to Wastewater Treatment Works, currently being bought around the world for it's significant, (up to 50%) site energy savings in WWTP, along with improved treatment & compliance capability within wastewater.

Martin continues in his R&D role, originally a Glasgow Academic to now an Inventor of a hugely significant green technology, targeting 2% of global energy usage in wastewater. A truly significant legacy and giant footprint for carbon reduction.

All at Strathkelvin would like to publically appreciate the significant impact Martin has achieved and look forward to the next few decades of high flying adventures! Not only still flying but building is own aircraft in his spare time! Martin Burns the Strathkelvin Legend!!
