It Still Happens TODAY

It Still Happens TODAY

Once upon a time there was a strange old man. He lived in a cave, where he had withdrawn from the noise of the villages. It was said that he was a magician, and therefore had students who hoped to learn magic from him. However, he himself did not think of anything like that. He always wanted only to find out what he did not know, but was always sure that it always happened.

When he had already thought too long about the unimaginable, he could not help himself in his unfavorable position in any other way, except to take a piece of red chalk and draw all sorts of drawings on the walls of his cave to discover what might look like what he does not know. After many attempts, he reached the circle.

- This is the right one - he felt - and another square inside - and so it was even better.

The students were curious, but they only knew that something had happened to the old man, and they were happy to find out what he was actually doing. They asked him: “What are you doing there inside?” But he didn’t say anything. Then they discovered the drawings on the wall and said: “This is it!”, and then copied the drawings.

In this way, however, without noticing, they turned the whole process upside down: they took the result in advance and hoped with this to provoke the same process that led exactly to that result.

So it happened then, it still happens today.
