At Wellcraft MFG, we're constantly seeking innovative ways to create our projects. One of the most significant advancements for us has been the use of structural adhesives. In fact, we consider this one of the biggest revolutions in our industry, offering a powerful alternative to traditional welding.

Modern structural adhesives have come a long way, offering strength and reliability that often surpass welding. These adhesives provide robust bonds that withstand extreme forces and environmental conditions, distributing stress evenly and enhancing overall durability. We also find that they're specifically helpful when we don't want to clutter the face of a sign with hardware or when one substrate is a little too thin to weld.

The process begins with meticulous surface preparation—cleaning and abrading to ensure optimal adhesion. The adhesive is then applied with proper applicators for a consistent, even layer. After application, the materials are clamped together until the adhesive cures, forming a strong and lasting bond.

By incorporating structural adhesives into our fabrication processes, we achieve high-strength joins without heat, distortion, or extensive finishing work. This not only streamlines production but also opens new possibilities for innovative designs and materials.
